About the Author Cherry Graziosi
In 1985 Cherry Graziosi made a decision that would change her life. She accepted a position as a news reporter at WFMD in Frederick, Maryland - about 45 miles north of Washington, D.C. Now, decades later, Cherry no longer works for WFMD, but still lives just outside D.C. in North Potomac, Maryland and still considers Washington as good as it gets. So much so that Cherry started her blog, www.dcweekends.com to give tourists and those living in and around our Nation's Capital a chance to see that Washington is much more than a city filled with museums and political landmarks.
